HONDURAS (postponed till Summer 2010)
I was planning on traveling to La Ceiba and El Pino with the St. Mark United Methodist Mission Team in July 2009. However, due to the government's unrest, this trip has been postponed till July 2010. We will be working on education, construction, and medical teams in the town of El Pino.
MEXICO (Summer 2008)
Spent four weeks on a self-directed trip traveling throughout Central and Southern Mexico. I visited many places throughout Mexico City, Guanajuato, Puebla, and Oaxaca as well as other sites such as Teotihuacan. During my time, I spent time studying Mexican history, culture, and language.
WESTERN CARIBBEAN/CENTRAL AMERICA (Summer 2006)
Spent a week traveling and visiting places such as Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico; Grand Cayman Islands; and Belize City, Belize.
CANADA (Summer 2003)
Spent two weeks traveling as a sponsor for the youth choir Spirit Wind. Traveled through Western Canada visiting such places as Victoria and Vancouver, British Columbia; and Jasper and Calgary, Alberta.
MEXICO (Summer 1999)
Traveled as the coordinating sponsor for a Youth Mission Trip to Juarez, Mexico for two weeks. During this time, we worked to build a home for a local family as well as taught local school children through the church.
ENGLAND (Summer 1995)
Traveled with the youth choir Spirit Wind for two weeks throughout Southern England. We sang in multiple local venues while learning about English customs and culture. During our time, we visited such places as London, Bath, Bristol, Canterbury, and Exeter.
